Pronombres: palabritas importantes

yo = "I"
- Subject pronoun- usually omitted unless emphasizing the subject.
me
- IOP (indirect object pronoun), "to me, for me" : Mis amigos siempre me ayudan (a mí).
- reflexive pronoun: Me cepillo los dientes cada noche.
- con verbos como gustar: Me encantan los coches pequeños.
mí
- con verbos como gustar (not IOP): A mí me gusta el helado. A mí también me gusta.
- as the object of a preposition: ¿Eso es para mí?
tú= "You"
- Subject pronoun- usually omitted unless emphasizing the subject
te
- IOP "to you, for you": Tus amigos siempre te ayudan.

ti

nuestro/a/os/as= "our"
Nuestro perro es pequeño. Nuestros perros son pequeños.
Nuestra casa es grande. Nuestras casas son grandes.
vuestro/a/os/as= "your" *(informal, only in Spain)
Vuestro perro es pequeño. Vuestros perros son pequeños.
Vuestra casa es grande. Vuestras casas son grandes.
¡OJO!
In Spanish you cannot use an apostrophe to show possession!
To say "Elena's book" you must use a preposition: "El libro de Elena".
**Notice the difference in word order
between English and Spanish**
"I like your sister's shoes" = "Me gustan los zapatos de tu hermana"
"I had fun at my grandma's house" = "Yo me divertí en la casa de mi abuela"
